Another disappointing London Series Game which got out of hand early when it became apparent that the Cardinals line was not going to be able to protect Carson Palmer for any length of time. Just before halftime it all ended ignominiously for Palmer as a hard hit that resulted in a downfield interception broke his left arm ending his participation. After that it was all one way traffic.
Adrian Peterson, who had just been signed by the Cardinals and was uniquely playing his second game in a year in London, was unable to do much other than chat to Larry Fitzgerald on the sideline. The MVP award went to Gurley who tore apart the Cardinals defensive with both his running and receiving game. Perhaps the award should have gone to Aaron Donald who ruined the Cardinals offence by destroying it from the inside. The Cardinal's offensive line was simply unable to protect the quarterback with sadly predictable results for both Carson Palmer's and the Cardinals fortunes.
